Ingredients

·      1 lb. ground chuck

·      1 medium onion

·      2 cloves garlic, minced

·      2 4oz. cans chopped green chilies, drained

·      2 8oz. cans tomato sauce

·      1/2 teaspoon oregano

·      8 6-inch flour tortillas

·      2 cups (8oz.) shredded cheddar, Monterey jack, or Mexican cheese

·      Green onions, sliced

·      Sour cream

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350℉.

  2. Cook and stir ground chuck, onion, and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in green chilies, set aside.

  3. Pour 1 8oz. can tomato sauce into a greased 11″x7″ baking dish. Sprinkle oregano over tomato sauce. Set aside.

  4. Spoon 3 to 4 teaspoons of meat mixture onto each tortilla. Top meat mixture with about 2 tablespoons shredded cheese. Roll each tortilla up and place, seam side down, in baking dish. Top tortillas with remaining 8oz can of tomato sauce and shredded cheese. Bake in oven for 30 minutes.

  5. Garnish with sour cream and sliced green onions.
